We the American people and our government failed Ivan Lopez. Yet another veteran who came home from the war, needed extensive mental health treatment and just couldnt take it anymore. Same story weve heard many many times. When will we start taking mental health of returning military veterans more serious? Reminds me of thousands of vietnam vets who didnt get the treatment they deserved when they came home and now iraq and afghanistan veterans who served multiple deployments and need to deal with their mental health issues.
