We the People Behind a Veil (Rating - 17/20) This anthology of poems written by Lalima Yadav reflects numerous shades of the darkness of our society. Language used in the poem is stupendous. Starting from female infanticide, crime, discrimination, this poetess has exposed each and every shade of problems which our nation needs to throw a light on. The poems are like a lucid letter with humanity enveloped over it. The only criticism I could point out here is that its amazingly dystopian! But then, going through all the poems is definitely worth for every penny you pay. People need to know the power of literature in moving the masses for the betterment of mankind. And this book is an example. My photo with this book? Just before writing the entire thing I was searching for your book, and came to realise that my mother has sold it to the kabadiwala :) Hope he gets influenced by your poems and raises a voice! :)
