We urge everyone to follow the Police advice that the path between Boyd-Wilson Field and the Terrace is unsafe. If you live in a Hall, don’t forget we offer a safe van to and from town and that service will now be running every night (9.30pm-4am) during the break. If you live in a flat near Kelburn Campus, the driver will be happy to take you home too. While we don’t own or control the land, we have been working with Police and the City Council to make improvements to this pathway and work starts tomorrow installing cameras. A security guard will also be patrolling the area, and you can contact them and the van driver via our Security Office on 04 463 9999. However until the offender is caught, please avoid this pathway at night.
