We want to offer friends of M3 FILMS a special discount for the November 2, 2013, JFK50 Symposium Understanding Tragedy: The Impact of the JFK Assassination on Dallas. On November 2, 2013, an outstanding line-up of national and local speakers will gather to take part in what will be a one-of-a-kind event. The impact of President Kennedy’s assassination will be discussed from four perspectives: Journalism (led by PBS broadcasting veteran Jim Lehrer), Art & Humanities (led by National Book Award winner Nikky Finney), Politics (led by public intellectual Stephen Carter) and Religion (led by Peabody Award-winning journalist Richard Rodriguez). Pulitzer-Prize winner Lawrence Wright will be taking part in a lunch program with Jim Lehrer. Tickets are on sale to the general public but they are offering these discounts to friends of M3: $40 for the Morning and Lunch session (a $15 saving) - discount code: m3am $70 for Morning, Lunch and Focus Forum (a $20 saving) – discount code: m3ff $150 for All Day (this includes the afternoon roundtables and private reception (a $100 saving) – discount code: m3allday The full day includes a Morning Session with KERA’s Lee Cullum and the keynote speakers commencing at 10am, a boxed lunch, the Lunch Program with Lawrence Wright and Jim Lehrer and a Focus Forum and Roundtable of your choice plus a reception at 4:30pm.
