We want to update you all on our progress. As most of you know we are working on opening a fiber recycling plant here in the kootenays. We have recently taken the next step in this venture. In February 2014 we took over a warehouse space and purchased some essential equipment such as a clothing bailer and a forklift. We are now working with several small and large thrift stores and consignment stores in the kootenay area to divert their unwanted textiles from the landfill. Our main goals in this project are to keep as much out of the landfill as possible and to create more jobs in the area. Including our recycling efforts we also endeavor to provide the full spectrum of used products and services to our community and outlying areas. On top of the pawn services we started almost two years ago, we have added a consignment and vintage store. Between the 14 thousand square feet of our two buildings we now employ 14 amazing nelsonites. As Positive Apparel Thrift Store, we help our community not only We are now Positive Apparel thrift store, furniture and pawn as well as PATS vintage and consignment and Positive Apparel textile processing facility. We are happy working with any and all other thrift stores and community service agencies to support them to.the best of our abilities. Currently we provide pickup services with our two ton truck for unwanted furniture and pick up for several other thrift stores of unwanted textiles. We also provide a voucher program to several local agencies allowing their low income clients and special needs clients to receive free products. We also like to share resources and information with everyone in our industry. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to drop by either of our two retail locations at 721 front st Nelson BC or call and email to speak to Sean or Aviva for further information 250 -505-5444 [email protected]
