We went and visited some family yesterday 2 of whom had fruit ripe for picking and were give free rein on them so we came home with rhubarb, plums, cooking apples and eating apples! Wayyy too much to eat, so we have just cooked it all up and are freezing it ready for crumbles :) mmmm my kitchen smells wonderful! Rhubarb was cooked first (i like mine really soft) then the plums were cooked in the rhubarb water, then the apples were cooked in the same water (also like apples soft) yummy!!!
