We were ask to go visit a lady in the hospice house in Huntersville yesterday evening. It was so heartbreaking, she was all alone no one with her at the time. She told us she was lost and that her pain had been so bad that she would have taken her own life, but she knew she would go straight to Hell. Joseph explained what she had to do to be saved and she pray with us. She said she still wasnt sure and needed to pray again when her mind was clear. Those meds she was on for the pain were making her not be able to think straight. We told her we would be back today and she said she had asked them to take her off the meds because she didnt want to spend her last days out of her mind. Please pray that she is able to think more clear today. It would be nice to know if she repented of her sins and has peace of where she is going. She said Preacher I have one more thing to ask you. She said I wrote it down so I wouldnt forget. We couldnt find the paper anywhere in the room but in a little bit she said I remember. She explained that she had a child before she was married and she said I need to know if that means my child has no chance of going to Heaven? We explained that someone had told her a lie and that if her child accepts the Lord she or he would be in Heaven someday. She said she was thankful that wasnt true, because it had worried her all these years. We have a busy day a lot of important things going on today. But the one that is heavy on my heart is Lilly. I didnt sleep at all last night, and my heart just hurts for this dear lady. I wonder if she never accepted the Lord all these years because of that lie someone told her about her child? We should really watch what comes out of our mouths. What you say to someone can affect where they spend Eternity! Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
