We were born at a great time. We became aware of the world in the age of Aquarius. Our generation took the blinders off. We explored and questioned everything including life style. The music was like never before and has never been equaled. We dreamed and went for it. It was all ok. We were all ok. To each his own, Groovy, Funk, Peace, Man, Far out, were our slang. It was a really special time in history. Now we are aged, we are parents and grand parents. And I ask, are we less loving and excepting them our grand parents? have we become stricter and more closed minded than out parents? How does our kids and grand kids see us? That havent a clue that we grew up in a really cool time. Its like we are ashamed of it and hide it. What would your kids and grand kids think if they came to hour house and you were playing those songs that molded your personality. They would think. I have a cool granny. My grandpa was a hippy. and be ok and happy that their were not raised by sticks in the mud. They will know how much you dedicated your self to raising them and now its retirement time. What if they were to come to visit and granny and gram were playing this , loud. What if you shushed them until the song was over. They would realize a side of you they probably never knew.
