We were up against UKIP, the Orange Order membership, the BBC, the pro-Union press, Westminster, the Conservative Party, New Labour, Jim Murphys Irn Bru tour, the President of the United States, several European leaders, MI5, the British Army, Tesco, ASDA, RBS, Former PM Gordon Brown, the current Prime Minister David Cameron, the Vow and countless other shifty detractors (the Daily Record, the Financial Times, SKY, etc, and so on). All we had was the people united under the Yes Scotland and Hope Over Fear banners. Isnt it amazing then that in spite of all the political and corporate might and power above, almost half the country still decided to vote Yes anyway? Isnt it amazing that our leaders have NOT ruled out a second referendum because of this? Isnt it amazing that the combined efforts of the above failed to put us all back in our wee box up the back of the shelf? I am proud to be among those that stood up to all this political chicanery. And Im proud of you for doing it too. Well done Scotland!
