We were very honored to be a part of two very special events this past week. On Tuesday, we were privileged to sing and play at Cambridge Village Retirement Center. While there, we were blessed to meet Mr. Arthur Marasco, the top photographer for the Military District of Washington DC. We were honored to look at some of the pictures he had taken. Pictures of President Truman, President Eisenhower, General MacArthur, Queen Elizabeth, the space shuttle Challenger, Norman Rockwell, Winston Churchill, and one of himself and Marlon Brando! It was amazing seeing so many incredible photos of our history taken by this sweet gentlemen! He also informed us that his brother was a musician and played with Glenn Miller, wrote music for Barbara Streisand and many others. This morning, we were honored to be a part of a War on Terror Memorial dedication today in Holly Springs. This special young man chose to make a memorial dedicated to his brother who was KIA and other men and women who have died in this war as his Eagle Scout project. The memorial even had a piece of steel from the World Trade Center donated to it. It was a very special event and we could not be more honored to be a part of it!
