We were younger, foolish, wild and simple. We knew each other, - TopicsExpress

We were younger, foolish, wild and simple. We knew each other, lived and worked around all of each other. Your house was mine, mine was yours and USAC was ours. We all were involved in something new, something that you just cant put a finger on. I dont think we knew it then but we all became a family. There were moments that wont be forgotten easily. We are and will always be a family. Unfortunately we have lost a member of our family. I have been trying to make sense of the call I received on Monday. Brian Horne has passed away. It seems like a really bad dream. I am waiting for him to call and say its not true. In the recent years since Erin and I had left AZ, we would occasionally talk. Mostly about ice stuff and how Disney on Ice will always be a pain in the ass. I never considered Brian an employee, he was a friend. A friend who would do anything for you. Everyone with the Phoenix Roadrunners was a friend. We have all moved on and are all doing different things, but we all remember the seasons that were full of fun, laughter and never a moment of real work. I am deeply saddened this week, I am sure gonna miss his laugh, wit and all around caring personality. One of the good ones is gone. Its a feeling I dont wish on anyone. Tell the ones you love often that you love them. That you are hear for them. If you find yourself still in PHX or would like to meet Erin and I there, services are being held on Tues Jan 13th at 5pm in the 4000 building at the CCV. 7007 West Happy Valley Road Peoria, AZ 85383 Everyone is being asked to wear something Coyotes, Notre Dame or fire dept shirts in remembrance of Brian. Please share with anyone else who would like to attend. If I missed tagging anyone, im sorry.
