We won an Invest in Neighborhoods grant for a College Hill mural! Were excited to announce that the College Hill Neighborhood Association won a grant from the Mayors Office of Economic and Workforce Development to paint a mural on the DPW structure at 3600 Mission (at the mouth of the Bernal Cut Path / south end of the lavender garden). Were grateful to all who wrote letters of support on behalf of the College Hill neighborhood, to Jorge Rivas in the OEWD for nudging us to apply and for finding us a fiscal sponsor, and to Independent Arts & Media for being our fiscal sponsor (see our proposal on IAMs website). We look forward to working with neighbors and the City on this project, and we will keep you apprised of developments; there will be opportunities for input and feedback as we work toward a mural design.
