We would just like to make it VERY CLEAR. We are not legally authorised to seize horses or issue fines/penalties to anyone. We are not funded by anything other than our own pockets, hard work and small donations from supporters. IT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY to take every horse that needs help!! God knows we would love to. If you see a horse that needs attention ring the RSPCA hotline - 1300 278 358, get a call number and by all means give us the info to follow up if you feel nothing has been done. We work closely with local inspectors and can offer them support to take seizures into care BUT WE CANNOT JUST DO IT. We take extreme offence to anyone who makes an accusation that we do nothing when those people have never volunteered, rescued a horse or offered support of any kind to us. Do not waste our valuable time. We are doing more than our share of hard work, saving lives and cleaning up the mess that others create. We do this because we are passionate, we care and we know we make a difference. Not because it is our job!!! This type of behaviour or attack is not something we are even going to acknowledge in the future. You will be blocked, no questions asked. - Jo
