We would like to clear up a misconception doing its rounds. Nowhere did Husky Rescue ask anyone for money. A suggestion was posed to us to encourage the publicto rather help proactively than hinder an investigation. Because Max was a husky we thought it would be nice to start with a Husky organisation. The mere fact that a gesture of goodwill has been twisted by many who commented on the post speaks volumes about those commenting.
