We would like to thank everyone who is participating in this years third annual Fearless Festival. We hope to have another beautiful evening of music on the Beach. The Fearless Festival is a fundraiser for the Peoples Burn foundation of Indiana /Camp Saturday Brave Hearts. We will be forwarding the proceeds to them so they can further help the children that have survived Fires. Unfortunately Renee did not survive but we are certain if she had we would be turning to them for support. Just a little history on how the Fearless Festival started. One evening in our garage Renee made a general statement about what she wanted when she died (not knowing that it was going to happen so soon) . She wanted a Celebration of her life for us not to be sad. So the Fearless Festival was born. Where did the Fearless Festival name come from? Renee had a tattoo that said BE FEARLESS After Renees passing her brother James, asked me can we please do a celebration of her life at the Aquatorium in Miller Beach she loved that place . He made the initial phone call to set things up and Connie Ohrn, J.o. Stay Cloudy, and I took it from there and all of the beautiful people in our neighborhood, friends, family, My employer Vince DiFiore Jr. and Vince Di Fiore Sr. ( Mr. Smooth) from Buckeye Construction who performs each year. Liquidated Damages from Leopardo Construction who has been our building block to build on from day one of the Festival. And our newest addition to the Fearless Family Funketorium!! There debut performance at aprox 8:00 p.m. And all of the other bands and musicians that participate each year. you are awesome!! At the same time that we were coming up with our idea for the Fearless Festival our beautiful neighbor Linda Grunstein and her daughter Kira Grunstein were starting to buy things for a celebration of Renees life as well to happen on her birthday! Renee was a special kid who was growing into a beautiful woman and she touched a lot of lives. Thank you Again from the bottom of our Hearts The friends and family of Renee Michelle Ohrn.
