Weather Bulletin Number THREE Tropical Cyclone Warning: Tropical Depression VINTA Issued at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, 29 October 2013 Tropical Depression VINTA has maintained its strength and continues to move in the general direction towards the Isabela-Aurora Area. Location of Center: (as of 4:00 p.m.) 820 km East of Virac, Catanduanes Coordinates: 15.4°N, 132.8°E Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center Movement: Forecast to move West at 26 kph Forecast Positions/Outlook: Wednesday afternoon: 320 km Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes or at 420 km East of Casiguran, Aurora Thursday afternoon: 40 km South of Sinait, Ilocos Sur Friday morning: expected to be outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) Friday afternoon: 620 km West of Sinait, Ilocos Sur Areas Having Public Storm Warning Signal PSWS # Signal No. 1 (30-60 kph winds may be expected in at least 36 hours) Isabela Aurora Estimated rainfall amount is from 5.0 - 15.0 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression. The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 11 PM today.
