Weather Forecast for Kent - Tuesday 8th April 14. TODAY: It is going to be a day of decent sunny spells and well broken cumulus-type clouds. Although temperatures will only be getting up to 13 C (55 F) under a breezy westerly wind, it will get to feel pleasantly spring-like warm in any south-facing sun traps (eg, the Lower Sandgate Road). So, indeed, you can now get back to the line washing routine knowing it wont get interrupted by rain. TONIGHT: Lengthy clear breaks and the wind becoming a light north west may enable temperatures to fall down to 4 C away from the coast - just cold enough for a frost to set in. There may also be the obligatory localised mist patches forming in prone sheltered areas. TOMORROW (Wednesday): Staying dry with decent sunny spells and variable cloud amounts. Temperatures getting up to 12 C to 14 C which is quite normal for this time of year but itll get to feel pleasantly mild in the sunshine. REST OF WEEK and WEEKEND: Continuing settled and dry with sunny spells and varied cloud amounts. Temperatures sticking close to average values but may tend to be cold enough at night for some frost and local mist patches. There is a risk of sea fog and low cloud creeping in from the North Sea to affect North and East Kent on Friday and perhaps into Saturday, but hope it may be a temporary feature. But regarding the next few days as a whole, Id be grateful and say Deal to all this since its still only April. Even though air quality will be excellent the whole time, hay fever sufferers may start to feel it as pollen count begin to rise again.
