My friend just emailed me this his friend/co worker found this dog. Please share and lets she if we can find someone to help or the owner! I found this dog Friday morning the 18th. She is absolutely as sweet as can be and very well behaved. Im trying desperately to find her a temp home until the SPCA has room for her or with luck her owner finds us or we’ll even settle for a permanent home. She is a Pit Bull mix or an American Bull Dog mix, about 4 years old. She weights maybe about 40 lbs. Shes recently had puppies. She likes to ride in the car and play. She doesnt bark or dig. All this makes it much harder to send her to the animal shelter. Her microchip info has a disconnect number so no luck via the microchip system. I have been in contact with many agencies in the past couple days with no luck. I need to get her placed by Wednesday of this week otherwise I will have no alternative but to let her go to the Solano County Animal Shelter. She was at my vet for 1/2 on Friday after I found her and the vet says she is absolutely adoptable as she is sweet, non-aggressive and very friendly. I’d have to say she’s better behaved than my own dogs! Please let me know if you or anyone you know can help us with a temporary home, a permanent home or even rescue place you might know of. If I can find a temporary home the SPCA in Vacaville says they will assess her and take just as soon as they have room and she will stay there until adopted. I’ve attached pictures to make this story even more sad.
