Weather Post: A weak system will pass through New England Tuesday morning with clouds and showers. Improvement with breaking clouds and increasing sunshine arrives from north to south in the afternoon. Temps will be relatively comfortable ranging from 60 north to a few low 70s south. Cold air is building once again in Canada and this will become our weather theme as we move into Thursday and Friday. Before the cold air arrives, a couple of weak, dry fontal passages will occur Wednesday and early Thursday. Then, as high pressure builds in, much colder air moves in. If winds diminish enough Thursday night, widespread frost and freezes are likely. Friday will be a bright but very chilly day. Fair and dry weather will prevail to kick-off the weekend, with a rebound in temps beginning on Saturday, becoming more noticeable on Sunday. Some wet weather may threaten the region late in the weekend. More on that tomorrow or Wednesday.
