Weather Update: Scattered showers and some storms will develop tonight and tomorrow across the state. Various computer models continue to show about 1-2 of rainfall across OK by Saturday morning when this first round moves out. That said, they also shift around some drier areas that only see about a half inch. Either way, the majority of you will get some decent rain. Kansas and Arkansas are more in a flood type situation with several inches expected this weekend. Round two kicks in late Sunday and into Monday. Another half to 1 of rain across C OK with more in the E. Severe weather threat may be limited somewhat if dew points and instability cant recover in time from the first wave. As far as temperatures go, expect it to start out warm Friday morning and then as the rain/front move through falling into the 50s by lunch and holding there during the afternoon. Well spend most of Monday in the 50s as well. Sat/Sun will be nice though 60s/70s. OU/TX Football Forecast: No change from before. Morning rain ending by 10am then partly cloudy. Temps mid 60s Wind N 10 mph. If you havent yet, be sure to download my free weather app to take with you while traveling and please share the post.
