Weather update from John: There will be patchy areas of cloud drifting around with spells of sunshine for most places but also a few mainly light showers these generally affecting more western areas and along the north coast from time to time. The light to moderate northwesterly breeze will gradually back to the west; maximum temperature 19C. Tonight: There will be variable amounts of cloud drifting in from the west northwest with a few light showery outbreaks of rain, however, the cloud will become overcast later in the night ahead of an approaching weakening weather system. The westerly breeze will increase moderate locally fresh to strong in the west; minimum temperature 13C. Tomorrow it will be a rather dull start to the day with associated patchy low cloud bringing an area of rain and or drizzle across the region during the morning. Conditions will gradually become drier and brighter during the early afternoon from the northwest with some reasonable spells of sunshine breaking through later. The winds will veer to the northwest as a moderate to fresh breeze locally fresh to strong in the west; maximum temperature 18C. UV Index: Moderate locally high. Pollen index: Low.
