Weaving the fate (formerly Villanova) brings it all home to Columbia, South Carolina on its brand new music video. The Columbia based band kicks it up a notch in this action packed video as local talented skateboarders, BMX bikers, and break-dancers show off their skills at Owens Field Skate Park. Other prominent Columbia locations behind the videos include Kelly’s Pub at the corner of Park and Washington Streets and the famous St. Patrick’s Day Festival in 5 Points that Columbia boasts being one of the largest in the Southeast. Director Trevor Mercer says “it was an honor to work with the legendary WTF/Villanova. We kept it high energy and showcased a lot of local talent.” The video harkens back to a 90’s vibe of alternative living and subculture showcasing impressive moves by break-dancers who call themselves The Hip Hop Mafia from Charleston and extremely talented skateboarders and BMX bikers from Columbia. “I wanted to write a song and create a video that was inspiring, empowering, and that sends a message that humans are capable of doing unbelievable and amazing things with positivity. says front man BC Villanova.
