Webster City Community School Superintendent Mike Sherwood on Wednesday announced the administrative assignments for the 2014-2015 school year. Today the district offered a contract for assistant high school principal to Jason Halverson from Monona, IA. Mr. Halverson brings with him eight years of experience as an administrator and eight years as a teacher at MFL MarMac. Sherwood said he is very pleased to welcome Jason Halverson to the Webster City District. In filling the position of high school principal, the district found itself in a unique situation in regards to the timing of filling the position and the challenges of bringing on board two new administrators to the high school. As a result, the district will be restructuring the current administrative staff to cover the responsibilities of the high school principal for the 2014-2015 school year. The following structure is for the 2014-2015 school year only and the district will begin a search for a new high school principal in early 2015. Administrative responsibilities for the 2014-2015 school year are as follows: Mindy Mossman – 4 year old preschool, Pleasant View Principal PreK- 1st grade with additional district staff evaluation responsibilities Chuck Bonjour – 2nd-4th grade at Sunset Heights with additional supervision responsibilities Kelli Reis – Middle School Assistant Principal Becky Hacker-Kluver – Middle School Principal Jason Halverson - High School Assistant Principal Becky Hacker-Kluver and Kelli Reis – shared position as High School Principal Linda Williams – District Curriculum Director –Administrative Duties at Hamilton Regional High School and Iowa Central Campus Dual Credit Program
