Wedding Day Calendar Recently I found a small calendar that was chocked full of “to-dos”. Such things as, order cake, pick out flowers and shop for wedding gown. The year was 1969 and each little square was filled with things I needed to do, lots of things! I remember getting up 44 years ago today, to get started on the last to-do list I had to master before my wedding. The wedding was to take place at seven oclock in the evening, so I was in for a busy day. Hair done at 9:00, dont forget “pill box” hat with veil, pick up flowers at 10:30, an orchid placed on my grandmas bible, the cake was to be picked up at 12:00, I even washed the car at 3:00 (what was I thinking)! Life has pretty well been the same way since I walked down the isle and said “I do”. But I have not done it alone, I have had my sweet Larry to help me through these many years. And together we have had the Lord to guide us when we didnt know what to do first, when we had come to the end of ourselves and didnt know what to do next and those difficult days when we clung to each other and our God with all our might. We learned that when we could see no hope, He was our hope! We learned that His grace was more than we could have imagined back on November 7, 1969. Happy Anniversary, my Sweet Larry Nihiser
