I WONDER WHAT IF OUR ACARYAS WERE PHYSICALLY PRESENT!!!! It has become a custom for some people to follow some sastric courses in Vrindavan,learn a few pastimes of the Lord here and there and start thinking that they have become pure and that they should give up everything and do bhajans in Vrindavan even at a very young age..The higher rasa disease!!!!! I wonder what would Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada say on that? What about personalities like Srinivas Thakur who is the first book distributor?What about Narottama das Thakur or Syamanda Pandit?Why were they bringing Vrindavan and its secrets to the common people?They were disciples of the Goswami yet they didnt choose to do bhajans only? Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu along with his Goswami and Acaryas associates has descended with The mood of Srimati Radharani and the Gopis to engage everyone in the service of Syamasundar and not just to be in Vrindavan only. This has been demonstrated by Srila Bhaktisidhanta Saraswati Prabhupada and AC Bhaktivedanta swami Prabhupada. The Sankirtan movement of Lord Caitanya and the Goswamis is not to do bhajans only in Vrindavan only but to (CC .antya 4.126) prithivite ache yata nagaradi grama sarvatra pracara haibe mora nama and CC madya lila 25.264 To deliver all fallen souls, the Lord traveled from country to country. He personally tasted the transcendental pleasure of devotional service, and He simultaneously spread the cult of devotion everywhere. The real understanding of Vrindavan dham , the Gopis mood and service and Vrindavan culture that is Srimad Bhagavatam is not just to sit there and do some bhajans...But to reveal the nectar and secrets of the Lord transcendental place,pastimes and associates to everyone in every nook and corner of the World... That is pure Vrindavan consciousness and Sato vrtteh(Upadesmrta)-following in the footsteps of the Acaryas. Sometimes i feel really sad when i see old friends becoming victims of this Higher rasa syndrome...Leave the movement.Give up service,reject their spiritual master and wander from places to places and temples to temples to listen to entertaining kathas only... Have they really understood the mood of our Param Guru or Jiva goswami??or the mission of the Sankirtan movement!!!!
