Wedding Dress---For Kelly-my love- My wedding dress-on a coat hanger- Waiting for me to fill it With my body-my love- my hopes and dreams- I enter into its form- I am so excited- I go looking in the mirror- I enter into daydreams- I look through the windows at Gord feeding the horses and I think of our lives together- Wedding dress I keep forming you stretching out your elbows- playing with your threads and so your life grows into the image of my life. Wedding dress When I walk around you ripple-rustle and hush as if you were my soul. Wedding dress- Through the nights sleep-you populate with my dreams your wings and mine. so I ask- If on that special day a joyful tear rolls down my cheek leaving a stain on you- would you cry with me- or maybe it won’t be all so teary but big smiles-I know we’ll both get emotional- Wedding dress together with my love-hopes and dreams we will enter matrimony with Gord- That’s why Every day I greet you With pride and you embrace me- because we are one we’ll go together to the alter at the ranch- as one single heart- Maybe one day my granddaughter will take you home.Gord
