A new group (POLOs) is meeting TWICE A MONTH at UUCS to facilitate social time out for parents. Childcare is provided. Please bring a small breakfast-y snack to share (like fruit, pastry, etc). Meetings are on SECOND AND FOURTH Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. See Tracy S. for more information. Saturday, April 26, Expresso Yourself Coffeehouse Violinists Fred and Pam S. will be the feature act at the April 26th Expresso Yourself Coffeehouse. The couple moved to Spartanburg from Ohio in 2012 and have played in Sunday services, at coffeehouse, and are active in the choir. Fred and Pam met through music and contra dancing and have distinguished themselves individually and collectively as stellar performers. As is our custom, an open-mic time will precede the feature act. Musicians, storytellers, poets, comics, etc.-all performers are welcome as long as your material is in good taste. Fun begins at 7:00 p.m. Bring a friend and come on out. Admission is a suggested $3 donation, free for performers. We continue to support TOTAL Ministries, which helps struggling families in our community, by asking for donations of non-perishable food items.
