Wednesday November 19, 2014 I am sorry, but I have some upsetting news that I feel I must share with you. A few people have been asking about Tommy and how he has been doing since the move from the marina. He moved to his new home on Friday November 7th and appeared to settle in. He was allowed to go outside the next day and the first couple of times he returned home. But he went out on Monday November 10th and he did not return home. Tommy has been missing since then. I heard about it a few days later and Lynn and John Paul and I immediately began to help look for him. We made posters and Lynn and John Paul have placed hundreds of them in the immediate area and along routes that Tommy might have taken. His new home which is in the Bellamy and Lawrence area in Scraborough backs onto a huge ravine that connects to many other parks in Toronto. It is well groomed in some parts and swampy in others. Tommy could still be close to his new home, he could be trapped in a garage or shed, or he could be anywhere else. It is overwhelming! He might even be trying to find his way back to Bluffer’s Park. We have been checking the shelters, and searching and searching, but so far no Tommy. We are all so upset. For me, losing Tommy is like losing one of my own cats and Lynn and John Paul feel the same way. We have known and loved him for years and as you know from my posts, he is quite the character and very lovable. Please say some prayers that Tommy finds his way home safe and sound. Thank you. Judy
