Wednesday Outlook: Wow....temps in the 80s two states - TopicsExpress

Wednesday Outlook: Wow....temps in the 80s two states west....while temps in the 30s two states east. This will help the development of strong to severe thunderstorms over the area really over the next two days.... I would not be shocked for many of us to be awakened Thursday AM to the sound of thunder! I really believe that the BIGGEST threat for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes will be southwest of Indiana....St Louis....Memphis....and Little Rock and points around those cities could be in for a rather large outbreak, with long lasting tornadoes possible. PDS Watches (Particularly Dangerous Situation) could be issued there....(exactly like what we experienced last November....) Of course, this needs to be watched for our area.... MAIN IMPACT OVER THE NEXT TWO DAYS FOR INDIANA: (In order) 1. FLOODING rains between 2-4.5 2. Wind damage 3. Cloud to ground lightning 4. Hail 5. Isolated tornadoes This wont be a two day constant rain/thunderstorm event....however, we will see MANY WET HOURS over the next two days.... FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT NOW for the heart of Central Indiana....and I look for that to be extended northward. Once we get into the weekend....temps cool off.....and we spend most of next week cool. Another heavy rain event possible Monday....bringing our 7 day rain total upwards to 5-6!!!! Longer range indications, thanks to the GFS and European indicate a warm up around mid month! Thursday-- Heavy Rain/storms Warm Highs 63-67 Lows nearly steady 58-61 Friday-- MORE RAIN....ending in the afternoon... Highs early 60-63 then falling to a low of 28-33 Saturday/Sunday Pt to Mt Sunny....cooler.... Highs 48-52....Lows 34-38 Monday-- Heavy rain returns! Highs 57-62 Lows 37-41 Tuesday-- Drizzle/light rain....gloomy.... Highs 45-50 Lows 33-37 Wednesday-- Cloudy....damp....raw.....blah..... Highs 44-48 Lows 28-31
