Another bump this morning...Ginny started having trouble breathing this morning. They checked oxygen levels and it was at 84% which is not good at all. So the drs were called in immediately and they started doing additional testing, thinking that she may have a blood clot it her lungs. They put her on forced oxygen and got her levels back up to 100%. We all prayed with her continuously. The tests came back and they did not find any clots! Praise Jesus!! The dr did tell us that her lungs are in really bad shape (we have know that for 20 years since her heart attack, so that wasnt news to us lol) She does have a fair amount of fluid in her lungs and the only way to get it out is to take it out with a needle and syringe. She will have one lung done today and the other tomorrow. Please keep her and the entire family in prayer as we are all starting to crack. Grandpa is especially having a hard time and I think he needs our prayers as much as Ginny does. At this time Ginny is in great spirits. For the first time, Ginny is telling us that she wants to get out of this place and this is ridiculous! Before today, she has really had no desire to go home. I think that her attitude of wanting to go home is great! and will be key in her getting out. Thank you to everyone who is praying for her, you dont know how much we appreciate it. Also let this be a message to any of you that smoke...The drs keep saying that there is nothing that can be done to repair the damage to her lungs. She quit smoking 20 years ago but the damage is still there. If any of you smoke and are thinking about quitting, I urge you to do it now!! Sooner than later (enough of my soapbox about smoking) you all know that its terrible for you!
