Wednesday Weekly Wupdate time!!! - Firstly a massive thank you to everyone who came on Monday. The rope and washer pump workshop worked and we managed to (sometimes explosively) pump water using something we built in half an hour. For anyone who wasnt there there are photos available on the EWB Birmingham page! - As a follow up, well be hosting a fundraiser using the rope and washer pump on the Wednesday 19th March to raise money for EWB-UK and the 2014/15 placements. Watch this space! - TOMORROW Thursday 6th March: 5:30-7:30 pm Tomorrow a few of us are going to the Arub EWB-UK networking event in Solihul. Details are at the following page but remember to meet us outside the Goose at 4:10pm where we plan to get the bus. So come along!!! - BOWLING!!!! Monday 17th March: 6:00pm Well be taking a group of budding young (and old Meurig Gallagher wants to come) bowling enthusiasts to Bowlplex a week on Monday. (Event to follow). - NEW SUMMER EWB PLACEMENTS: DEADLINE 10th MARCH!!! 6 new summer opportunities have been released in India, Bangladesh, Cameroon and Rwanda for working abroad this summer.
