Wednesday my elbow swelled and hurt like it was hit by a hammer. I figured I did something and it would get better. But today, the pain was moving down my arm so I went to the doctor. I have Bursitis with an infection. It is harder to see now, but the read areas were very bright this morning. the Doctor told me he could draw a line around the infected area. They gave me an antibiotics shot in the rear, and made me wait 15 minutes as it burned and competed with the pain in my elbow. They drew fluid and Blood. My white blood count was getting high and the fluid from the swelling was very cloudy. They sent the fluid to get tested in a lab. Can we say YE-OUCH.......While I was waiting for my prescriptions, The red area increased, moving toward my armpit. I am on 10 days antibiotics, and I have to go back on Tuesday to make sure it is healing. I have pills for pain (Tramadol), but they gave me a migraine and made my arms itch. I took antihistamines to make sure it did not mess with me more. So the only pain killer I can take for it now is Alieve, two twice a day. The doctor me, to take both, but prescription pain pills all seem to mess with me.
