Wednesdays Weather: Summary: Sunny spells and a few showers today. Cool northwesterly winds. Rest of Today: It will stay bright this afternoon with a mixture of sunshine and a few showers, some quite heavy. Winds will be a fresh to strong north to northwesterly, but will ease through the day. Maximum Temperature: 14 Deg C (57 Deg F) This Evening and Tonight: There will still be a few showers around this evening. Shetland will stay mainly dry and clear overnight, while cloud and rain will edge northwards into Orkney. Winds will also become lighter. Minimum Temperature: 8 Deg C (46 Deg F) Thursday: There will be some rain at first across Orkney, though this will soon clear away southwards. Then a bright day with some sunny spells and a few showers and a light to moderate northerly breeze. Maximum Temperature: 14 Deg C (57 Deg F) Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Sunny spells and scattered showers on Thursday. Mostly dry and bright on Saturday, with moderate to fresh northwesterlies. Sunday will be dry and bright with lighter winds.
