Weekend 27th to 29th June Ok let me try to give you some information on your practice weekends We will meet at Killinchy Non Subscribing Presbyterian Church on the Friday evenings at 19.00 in the hope that we can depart by 19.15 we expect to be back in Killinchy on the Sunday afternoon by 16.00 but that can be weather dependant and can be earlier or later. On the night you will need a consent form please ensure that you have these as we will not be able to take you away if you have forgotten. I will have spares if you forget but you will need a parent to complete. We will provide you with tents, group first aid kits, trangia cookers, fuel, maps and compasses. I expect all back in working order however accidents do happen but if anything is broken make sure you let a member of staff know so that it can be fixed or replaced If you need a rucksack please ask as we carry a few in the store You will need to bring all your food for Friday night, all day Saturday and breakfast on Sunday we usually manage to get to a chip shop on the way home on the Sunday so you will need money to cover the cost of that should you choose to eat there. You will need all your clothing for the weekend, sleeping bag and sleeping mat. You already have the full list of equipment that you need for an expedition. You can only take your rucksack and remember that you will have to carry all that you bring.
