Weekly Menu: How tired are you of hearing us say, “We’re going to try something new!”? The success of last week’s Saturday Brunch convinced us that what McComb needs and wants is a great place to have breakfast. SO… starting this Saturday (you guessed it) we’re going to try something new! From 8 til 2 we’ll be serving pancakes, pimiento cheese grits, granola + yogurt, toasted focaccia with locally made jam and more (see menu below). If you’re in the mood for lunch, we’ll be offering lunch toasties after 11. We hope you’ll join us for this new venture! (We plan to continue Saturday Brunch with Kennon and Meredith on the first Saturday of each month.) Tuesday white bean, kale + sausage soup soup + salad spinach salad with toasted walnuts, sliced pear, bleu cheese, balsamic fig vinaigrette OR café salad (greens, red onion, cherry tomatoes, feta, pumpkin seed, olive-garlic dressing) toasties served with chips or Serbian tomato salad baguettes + sweets (we MAY be offering a whole grain 3-seed bread as well) Wednesday red beans + rice, served with tomato + feta salad curried yellow squash soup soup + salad spinach salad with toasted walnuts, sliced pear, bleu cheese, balsamic fig vinaigrette OR café salad (greens, red onion, cherry tomatoes, feta, pumpkin seed, olive-garlic dressing) toasties served with chips or Serbian tomato salad cranberry walnut bread + sweets Thursday, opening at 8 am for Market Morning! Join us for coffee and baked goods. shepherd’s pie, served with roasted carrots creamy tomato soup soup + salad spinach salad with toasted walnuts, sliced pear, bleu cheese, balsamic fig vinaigrette OR café salad (greens, red onion, cherry tomatoes, feta, pumpkin seed, olive-garlic dressing) toasties served with chips or Serbian tomato salad black olive-feta bread + sweets Friday farmers’ market pizza (with local sausage and whatever we find at the market!) corn chowder with green chilies soup + salad spinach salad with toasted walnuts, sliced pear, bleu cheese, balsamic fig vinaigrette OR café salad (greens, red onion, cherry tomatoes, feta, pumpkin seed, olive-garlic dressing) toasties served with chips or Serbian tomato salad focaccia + sweets Saturday, serving breakfast from 8 til 2 (lunch toasties available after 11) scones, various cookies, etc granola + yogurt pimiento cheese grits buttered toast with jam breakfast toastie (ham, fried egg and cheese), served with fruit pancakes: plain, blueberry or banana-walnut, served with fruit + maple syrup Be sure to take a glance at the Downtown Depot Pavilion and the small building to its right.
