Weekly Update Div 1 Week 25 – Wetherill Park – 3 August The division bowled 4 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 56 200 games and 14 600 series. The high game went to Chris Cooper with 267 followed by Alex Sole on 242, Chris Gervacio on 238 Shane Brown on 235, Andrew Parker 233, Paul Neich 232 and Paul Katar 230. The series went to Steve Price with 658 followed by Chris Cooper on 650, John McGrath 634 Shane Brown and Paul Neich on 619, Chris Arthur on 615 and Mike Brown on 614. The ladies high game went to Janelle Crass with 236, followed by Rachel Dinte on 232, Leigh Shephard 227 and 224 with Trudy Gould 225 in between. The series went to Leigh with 653, followed by Trudy 624, reserve Terrie Hampshire 605, Sarah Heath 603 and Janelle 600. Leaders Rooty Hill Knights lost for the 2nd week in a row this time to 4th placed Windsor Warriors by 6 points. 2nd place Lidcombe Lightning failed to make the most of this opportunity going down 11-8 to 3rd place Bowlarama Legion who moved within 3 points of 2nd. Wetherill Park Bandits scored 15 ½ points and jumped up 2 places to 8th while Rooty Hill Hurricanes scored 16 ½ on the bye, but remained in 6th place while Windsor Destroyers scored 14 and also stood still. The high game went to Warriors with 1042, followed by Blacktown Eagles 1025 and Hurricanes 1010. The high series also went ot Warriors with 2877, followed by Hurricanes on 2832 and Eagles on 2815. Div 2 Week 25 – AMF Villawood – 3 August The division bowled 3 pins over average at Villawood with 33 200 games and 5 600 series. The high game went to Neil Maloney with 279, followed by Chris Greaves 245, Matt Hughes 235, Jared Kirkland 228. Michael Pipe 226, Derek Kellard and Chris again on 224 and Dean Harris on 220. The series went to Chris with 655, closely followed by Neil on 654, Derek on 622, Jared 611 and Les Dunn 603 while Dean rolled a 599. The ladies high game went to Tamika Spooner with 204 closely folloed by Sam Shortland on 202, Lisa Love and Nicky Foster on 201 Evelyn O’Donnell on 199 and Louise Morgan on 191. The series went to Tamika with 533, followed by Melissa Webb on 525, Sandra Burchall on 508 and Evelyn on 506. Leaders Bowlarama Alley Catz won 14-5 and extended their lead back to 19 points as 2nd place Villawood Hi Rollers scored 12. 3rd place Windsor Tigers lost 14-5 to Tenpin City Bandits and dropped to 5th as Lidcombe Larrikins won 13-6 despite being a player down for the 1st game. Rooty Hill Hotshots moved into 4th spot with 13½ points. The high game went to Larrikins with 975 followed by Alley Catz on 937 and Hi Rollers on 929. Hi Rollers took the series with 2687, followed by Bandits on 2665 and Hornsby Hawks on 2623. Div 3 Week 25 – Tenpin City – 3 August The division bowled 2 pins under average at Tenpin City with 12 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to Rob Ciacciarelli with 236, followed by William Scheers on 228, reserve Ray Vandine on 225, Bruce Worrell on 224 and Ricky Andrews on 220. The series went to Ricky with 614 followed by Rob on 597, Ray on 589, Bruce on 588, Josh Mardel on 579 and Steven Judge on 570. The ladies high game went to Trinny Short on 190, followed by Ancita Levy on 185, Rita Harris on 181, Trinny and Rita again on 174 with Lorraine Hazelwood while Maxine Jones scored 171 and Lisa Higgs 170. Leaders Bowlarama Raging Bulls won 17-2 to increase their lead to over 30 points as 2nd place Randwick Rebels won 10-9 against 5th place Strathfield Storm who moved up to equal 4th. 3rd place Liverpool Lions won 13-6 against 4th place Windsor Mixed Nuts. The other big win on the day was bottom team Sneeky Cobras 13-6 over Illawarra Steelers. The high game went to Wetherill Park Rangers with 877, followed by Randwick Rebels on 873 and Cobras on 853. The series went to Rangers with 2477, Cobras on 2452 and Castle Hill Devils on 2422
