Weekly printmaking advice: Knowing what and when your limit is.... Here is a note, if you accomplish the following in five days, you may have reached a limit(s). 1. Levigate 2 stones. 2. Scrape a roller 4 days in a roll. 3. Perform two stone etchings within one night. 4. Print said stone the next day. 5. Bevel a 16x20" 1/8in thick plexiglass. 6. Bevel, polish and etch a copper plate. 7. Start the process for aquatint on said copper plate. 8. Keeping the printshop in a decent manner.... If you do this and more you may end with a sore stiff upper back, upper arms, shoulders and neck on that following Sunday.... Not saying that happened to me, but yeah, that happened to me.
