Diabetes in the number one health threat in the UK 1 in 20 people in the UK are living with diabetes – that’s over 3 million people And it’s a growing problem – that figure is expected to spiral to 5 million by 2025 Yet 80% of Type 2 diabetes cases can be delayed or prevented Obesity accounts for 80-85% of the overall risk of developing Type 2 diabetes We need to raise awareness of this ..
