Welcome Coco to VPFP, this beautiful young lady is available for adoption immediately and needs a foster home ASAP. She is young, active, sweet and playful. She walks well on a leash and loves playing fetch. Coco gets along with other dogs and is curious about cats but doesnt show aggression. Of course S L O W introductions are a must with all dogs. Coco was returned to the shelter for biting a child HOWEVER the family clearly admitted the little girl had been antagonizing her for weeks and Coco finally had enough. The bite was superficial and the little girl is fine but Coco found herself moved to the unadoptable section because of shelter policy. =( I met her yesterday and she is nothing short of amazing, she has lots of built up energy and needs exercise and structure but thats to be expected with any shelter dog. We have a temporary foster lined up but we REALLY do not want to make the transition any more confusing and would love to place her directly into a LONG term foster or better yet a FOREVER home.
