Welcome St. Francis Society Animal Rescue Co-Cats of the day: Smidge and Tongo! Smidge: Im a tiny little guy. When I ended up at a shelter as a newborn, I was really sick. My foster mom from St. Francis took me home and nursed me back to health. Sadly, my brother didnt make it. I was so sick that I had to be tube fed for a while because I was too weak to eat. Because of that, I didnt grow very fast. I still have a problem with my sinuses and maybe always will. My foster mom says she can always find me by just listening for my breathing! But even though Im a noisy breather, I can do anything my foster siblings can do! I run, climb and love to chase a laser light. Im not much of a lap sitter, but I do like to be petted and played with. So if you are looking for a sweet, quiet little guy, here I am! Pick me! Pick me! A nice lady from St. Francis came and got me. I was so tiny and cute! My front feet are different than most cats. I only have 3 toes on each foot. I cant retract my claws so they have to be keep nice and short. But boy, am I a fun loving guy. I can run and jump with the best of them. Except from a slight limp, without looking closely, you would never know Im different. My foster mom tells me that Im the VERY BEST lap sitter in the world! And no one, NO ONE, can purr as loud as I can! So if you are looking for a very best friend to keep you company, Im here waiting for you.
