Welcome to Day 2 of 3 paintings a day for 5 days. Today Im posting 3 encaustic and mixed media works that Ill be exhibiting at the Fort Gallery Alumni Show that opens on January 28th and runs through to February 14th 2015. I am really excited to be sharing the exhibition space with 8 other artists including Suzanne Northcott, Fiona Moes Pel, Donna Usher, Betty Spackman, Terry Nurmi, Susan Falk, Myrna Pfeifer and Richard Forbes. I hope that you will join us at the opening on Saturday, January 31st at 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. These works are part of a larger series entitled The Detritus Collection exploring how we create meaning from simple objects and events that work as powerful memory triggers.
