Welcome to GSRV, Chadd! Chadd is 3.9 years old and is an absolute gentleman! Hes gentle, placid and well mannered, he deserves the very best. Owning a dog is a privilege and certainly not suited for everyones lifestyle. This was the case in Chadds situation. After some encouragement Chadds owner agreed to surrender Chadd to us so we could give him the attention he deserved and needed. Chadd was taken to Wantirna Vet Clinic at the earliest time available which was the morning after his surrender. He was treated for fly bitten ears, conjunctivitis and dermatitis, had his vaccinations and heartworm brought up to date and was then given a good scrub in the doggy bath followed by his ears cleaned and a given a flea treatment. He was then ready to be spoilt rotten and loved by his foster carers Madeleine and Tabarek who already say they cant fault him, hes a good boy in every way! Our Vet is concerned about how tight Chadds muscles in his legs are and would like to x-ray his hips which will take place in a week. In the meantime Madeleine and Tabarek have been shown how they can massage Chadds legs and hips to provide him some relief! What amazing foster carers! Chadd will spend the near future with his foster carers so we can monitor him and provide him the support he needs.
