Welcome to Roatan, Honduras. This is Maya Key and it is a wildlife refuge, we enjoyed holding a white faced capuchin monkey, a blue macaw, a blind baby saltwater crocodile and several unique birds and sea creatures! We even witnessed a rescue of a Royal Turn that had been bound with fishing wire and his wing had been pierced with a hook. Annie and I, watched them pull him out of the ocean, detangle him and save the birds life. And yes, I taped it!! It was awesome. What a wonderful learning experience!
