Welcome to South Yorkshires first and only virtual rugby club. Formed in 2014 from four veterans teams in the South Yorkshire area the Babas were initially formed for a memorial game in order to remember a team mate, opponent and friend. When we formed the idea of the Barbarians we hoped it may gain enough support for at least an annual event. However, such was the level of enthusiasm and spirit of the match, played on 15 Feb 2014, that an annual event is pretty much certain and other events are likely. Who knows where the Babas could end up?? This Facebook page has been created to circulate the photos of the first match to those who played and those who may have an interest in supporting or perhaps joining us for future events. Feel free to comment, to post suggestions for future fixtures or events and please feel free to share this page with as many friends, family and team mates as you can.
