Welcome to THE V-E-R-Y BOOOORING RRPORT, 6/11/13! Seriously, folks…this is a short one, for sure. Walked from Penn Sta. this morning with just my SOLAR SHIELD glasses on that the cataract doc gave me…WITHOUT MY REGULAR GLASSES ON! I mean…WTF? How crazy is that? The sun came out; it got hotter-than-hell…and my old buddies, The Eagles, pushed me along with “Take It Easy” leading the way. I, as usual, thanked THE BIG GUY for letting me do another day of stupidness…AGAIN…adding that I NEVER take it for granted. And thanks for helping me with my eye-thing. And for watching over my family…and extended family…and some friends…close and not-that-close…that need a little ‘extra’ help with their bodies and minds. You know, some people struggle EVERY DAY of their lives…and we never know about it…of course. Like those wonderful BLIND folks that I met from the Helen Keller Center in Port Wash. a couple of times during the ten weeks that I cried-like-a-baby because I couldn’t see out of one eye. I mean, WTF??? And how ‘bout folks you and I know that have LIFE-THREATENING illnesses that even THE BIG GUY can’t help them with? Good luck Daisy Collado with your detached-retina follow-up visit this morning at 11:00 (she had surgery a few days ago). And I hope I hear good news from Doctor Cataract tonight at my visit. There’s still some shit I gotta go over with him…but…GEEZ…what these docs did for me has been AMAZING! Somebody I sleep with every night (NO…NOT JETER-the-CAT) is going to celebrate our 41st WEDDING ANNIVERSARY… AND HER BIRTHDAY…in that order…on June 17th and June 18th! BIG, huh? How ‘bout…H-U-G-E? HAVE A BLESSED DAY, Y’ALL!
