Welcome to Winter +STEAM! The coordinators had a very productive meeting this morning and organized our term to get us back on track with our original program overview. The following outline will also be posted to the +STEAM calendar so not to worry about taking notes. If you dont have access to the calendar ping me, Pino Bello and I will make sure you have been invited. The following projects are underway for this term with the following deadlines. Remember, you are competing for Potentially Valuable Prizes so get on board and lets MAKE stuff! • EVERY WEEKDAY MORING FROM 8-8:50 • • COFFEE WITH THE COORDINATORS • IN THE CAFETERIA ALONG THE WALL WITH THE MULTICULTURAL CENTER. This is an ideal opportunity to network, get advice from other +STEAMates share your ideas and start your morning with friends, fun and COFFEE!!!! ANYONE can make this meeting from time to time and the coordinators are always present. Project 1. Form or join an Agile Project Team. Your team of 5-7 +STEAMates will be responsible to brand itself and create a team website. Your site will be appended to the +STEAM website which is in development. Each team will set their own meeting schedule. Project deadline Midnight Feb 16th! Project 2. Your team will be responsible to create a mobile video game. Specifics for this project will be detailed when the teams competition is complete. Project deadline Midnight Mar 16th. Calendar overview: SS120 is our new home every Friday from 3-5PM THIS FRIDAY!!!!! Jan 24 Welcome Back Pizza Parties. 2PM & 3PM. (Location for 2PM meeting TBD, Possibly Cafeteria) We will discus creating teams, using LinkedIn, available resources and eating Pizza. Mar 21st Games Judging - Pizza Party. Support Meetings - This is your opportunity to share successes and network with +STEAM mates. Ask advice, give advice and help each other grow, just like the Coffee with the Coordinators every morning at 8AM.
