Welcome to the Army Reserve Facebook chat. Tonight we have two Army members to answer your questions about the supportive roles within the Army, life in the service and the benefits. We have Corporal Kristy, who is an Army Dental Assistant. Kristy has been in the Army for 5 years. She has had the opportunity to be part of a deployment to the Torres Strait, where her role was to work with a Dental officer and go to the different islands providing treatment to Torres Strait islanders. Private Michael who is an Operator Movement in the Army he is currently posted to Fed Guard in Canberra. He initially joined the Army as a Driver and has also had experience as an Air Dispatcher. He has the opportunity to go on three deployments throughout his career.
