Welcome to the Team Page of Cancer Sucks! Join Our Team! Kalyn was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in November of 2006. Eight years ago, her family experienced every parents nightmare - a child diagnosed with cancer. However, Kalyns diagnosis shed light on what is really important in life; namely, spending time with loved ones. It is incredibly heartwarming to experience how our family, friends, coworkers, and even strangers rally around us in our time of need. We want to pass on that experience, by giving back to the organization that has saved Kalyns life. Without the countless hours poured into pediatric cancer research, Kalyn, along with millions of other pediatric cancer patients, may not be alive today. A sobering thought, and yet a reality 1,400 families experience each year. With your help, that number can one day be zero. For the fourth year, we will be participating in the CureSearch for Childrens Cancer in Tulsa, OK. The money we raise will fund and support collaborative research to find a cure for all cancers affecting children.
