Well, 200-something people have joined the group here in the last couple of weeks, and for that, thank you. It seems to indicate there is some interest in this. So with that, whos ready to take the next step? Im gathering the IRS forms to create a 501(c) (7) tax exempt social club to make Imperial Valley Drag Racing Association a real, live, legal thing, with dues paying members, an elected board, bylaws, etc. I believe that any inquiries to politicians, land owners, potential sponsors or whoever, about bringing drag racing back to the Valley would be taken more seriously if we speak as an organized and cohesive voice.
