Well! 4 polls full already dried from all this heat so into the smokehouse with a smouldering smoke and going to jump into the steam. Pulled in the net so I can have a leisurely day tomorrow. May put out for just enough fish to can two more cases of 2 day smoke. And do that until I am done and ready for Silvers. Wish we would get wind or rain it is so dry and so very hot. My arms and hands and face are dark brown. Never was brown like this in my life except during berry picking time. Now I look just like everyone else in our village that has been busy doing subsistence. Home Sweet Home. Peaceful when no partying is going on it has been wonderful for the past two months, I hope it remains this way for the rest of summer and personally for the year. PTL .
